The Deep Roots Collective
A fiscally sponsored project of Eloheh Indigenous Earth Center
The Deep Roots Collective is an independent organization founded by Scott and Jenny Hall, operating under fiscal sponsorship with Eloheh. While we share Eloheh's commitment to honoring indigenous wisdom and right relationship with the land, we serve a distinct mission and community.
What We Do
We put down deep roots into ancient wisdom. The Deep Roots Collective is a spiritual home for people who've outgrown what they've been given. We learn from the land, gather online, walk ancient pilgrimage paths, and meet one on one. The work refreshes the soul and renews purpose.
Our Connection to Eloheh
Scott and Jenny Hall have been mentored by Dr. Randy and Edith Woodley since 2015, learning from his teaching on indigenous wisdom and land stewardship. The Deep Roots Collective extends this work by guiding non-native people to honor indigenous wisdom while exploring their own ancestral roots in Celtic and Franciscan spiritual traditions.

North Valley Prescribed Burn Association
Prescribed Burn Associations (PBAs) are community-based networks of individuals and organizations interested in using prescribed fire, particularly on non-federal lands. PBAs can include a wide range of people: landowners, community members, natural resource professionals, students, and anyone else interested in prescribed fire. Most PBAs do not require individuals to have any fire experience or qualifications to participate. PBAs help the hosting landowner accomplish their burn safely and at low cost by sharing equipment, skills, and labor. They often provide landowners with technical assistance, help with acquiring permits, and assistance with coordinating resources for the burn. When weather conditions are appropriate and all preparation work has been completed, PBA members and volunteers join the landowner to conduct a burn on their property. Each burn is a valuable training opportunity that also reduces wildfire risk and increases the health of the land.
